Swan Esther

Musical retelling of the biblical story of Esther, score by Nick Munns and J. Edward Oliver. Appeared at London's Young Vic Theatre in December 1983 in a limited run, then toured as Swan Esther And The King. This release features the complete 1983 concept album (digitally remastered from the original master tapes) with studio rehearsal demos of the additional songs composed for the touring production, plus bonus unreleased recording by Stephanie Lawrence "Here Stands a Man" from the unproduced 1992 musical adaptation of How Green Was My Valley, music & lyrics Shirlie Roden.
