| Stuhlbarg's capture of this complicated man - I saw it today - is mesmerizing, and seen here against the footage, all the more remarkable. The play has so far proved a tough sell in NYC. It has the feel of an autumn opening, and sandwiched among spring's cascade of Tony-competitive musicals, has been a bit lost. It's on TDF daily, and I had front row center mezz via TDF. The reviews were respectable, but not must-see. I hope it can build to fill its 12 weeks. It isn't breaking even yet. |
