| The most memorable time where a show halted for me was the musical. What makes Sammy run? In the second act, Sally Anne Howes completely forgot the lyrics to a song but instead of just humming it or whatever she just stopped and couldn't go on. Steve Lawrence came on stage and then he asked if anyone had the score with the lyrics and it seemed like an interminable time before someone found them and Sally looked at it, and they went back to the top of the scene and the play proceeded without a hitch . I had never seen anything like it before or since. |
