ROYAL FAMILY OF BROADWAY will make long-awaited premiere in the Berkshires

William Finn's long-gestating musical adaptation of The Royal Family has been announced for a monthlong run at Barrington Stage next summer. I first remember hearing about this show 20 years ago. I believe it's had several workshops, and some of its songs ("I Have Found," "Stupid Thing I Won't Do") have become staples on Finn's cabarets. Should be interesting.
