Weinstein is an order of power larger than Rudin, but they share many of the same habits and lack of respect for their fellow human beings. Rudin's words aren't as abusive as Weinstein's actions, but they are still an aggressive professional violation of their subjects and those subjects' clients.
Some producers are sociopaths, that comes with the territory. I can't speak directly to the two men in question, aside from a brief encounter with Rudin, but terrible stories of similar nature have circulated around both for decades now. |
