| Back in 1990, I took the train to Chicago to see a Branagh directed Lear, Richard Briers , as Lear, with Emma Thompson as the Fool. She was so Very Funny, and (Spoiler Alert) when Lear says the Fool had died, there were gasps from the audience. That fool had captured hearts. |
