Agreed.
My mind raced to other musical roles, including those in which he need not carry a whole show the way he's carries "Evan..."
If Encores ever did "Greenwillow," he's be a wonderful Gideon. Not everyone's favorite, but the score is a keeper to me. There's no demand to see the show revived, but as small treasures go, it's worth a hearing. And he'd make "Never Will I Marry" wrenching.
