I'll check out the Carpetbaggers. I guess it is hard for me to picture Ashley in the role since I've only seen her in more recent stuff when she was older.
She did get a Tony nomination. Strangely Mildred Natwick didn't but she got an Oscar nomination for the film. She should have won. I vividly remember seeing Barefoot for the first time on the late show when I was a teen. Her first entrance when she is out of breath from all the stairs had me in hysterics. |
