1 missed and 1 almost late in 50 years.
Missed because we had Thursday night subscriptions. But our tickets were for a Wednesday this time. So there we are showering on a Thursday and my (now) husband says: Umm.... our tickets for Miss Saigon, Center orchestra I might add, were for last night! Lol.
And the almost late saga, there we were in the old Mayflower, in our room overlooking Central Park, watching Into the Woods on the lousy 19” tv and we couldn’t tear ourselves away. We barely got to the theatre just in time. As we took our seats in the dark (on the aisle thank goodness), the opening chords to Titanic rang out. |
