| ...so what do you want us to do next? Hold the show for you? What about job interviews? Gate closings at the airport? Are you writing this rant on other boards for those as well? You can write an endless dissertation on the all permutations of how one can be delayed, you can conduct studies proving how the MTA is never on time... but that doesn't change the fundamental fact that you don't seem to grasp -- we are not responsible for you! The majority of patrons don't arrive after the curtain has gone up. You're the exception, not the rule. Your claim that theatre attendance is hurting because of policies refusing to admit late people is preposterous! What you suggest also smacks of the irrational --- What difference does it make whether a ticket prints the policy or not? Are you looking for an invitation to come late? What theatre would NOT adopt a "no late seating" policy?? So why even ask for one? |
