| In NYC this spring, I had a slightly injured ankle.I realized it was atoo slow walkn Grabbed a Crossotown cab, but it was so slow that when we got to 8th ave, I paid and walked as fast as I could the two blocks up to the friedman and got there about 5 mins after they started letting people in off the street,the thought of being late for Laura Linney had my heart pumping fast......Other wise I like to get to the area about 2 hours ahead of time, with a book; On the several occasions when I've taken some friendso a show(habitually Late friends) I tell them the play starts at 7:30, so we have to be there at 7:00. this is for an 8 o,clock curtain; I lie for their own good. |
