When Memphis was at the Shubert, the first row seats were cheaper than those behind them, because the stage was so high. I am tall and enjoyed sitting there and didn't find it a problem, but unless you are over six feet, it wouldn't seem to be an ideal location, especially for the way the "Dolly" number is staged.
