Jessica Lange attended a tribute to the Pulitzer-winning playwright/actor today that was held at the Ellen Stewart Theatre in NYC. Jeremy Gerard reports about the speakers, one of whom once mistook the flannel-clad Shepard for a ''truck driver [who] can write!''
