Beyond cruel? It's a f@&$ing show. It's not the end of the world. And who is taking joy in it. We simply don't want you to f$&&ing disturb us during the show because you don't know how to be on time. As was said, only pick a performance in which you can get to the theater district 2-3 hours in advance. That way, there is no train or parking problem that can sabotage you getting the show on time. Latecomers need to get their life together. It's a mess. I've never ever ever been late.
