I paid $109 for row B, balcony; superb "Dolly" seats.

Just wanted to annotate this thus. The front of the Shubert balcony, which almost hugs the stage (much closer than far pricier mezz seats at the Minskoff or Gershwin) is the best kept secret. I saw several hits there, including "Spamalot".

"Dolly" was perfect from row B. It even felt intimate. Seriously.

Those of us with great experiences from less expensive seats need to keep spreading the word. I saw both "Hamilton" and "Evan Hansen..." for under a hundred bucks per, and had a wonderful time at both. If people want to pay more, great. I believe in consumers paying what consumers choose. But let's keep theatergoing honest, and admit that carefully selected cheaper seats -- not cheap, I said cheaper -- make B'way possible for many of us.
