Of course Nanette Fabray had played PRINCE OF CENTRAL PARK out-of-town in Miami (where I saw it, and she was WONDERFUL in it), but she - I believe - had committed to another show when PRINCE was ready to go to New York, and so the part then went to DeHaven.
And then I don't think the Fabray show ever did materialize.
Or maybe Fabray just didn't want to bring it into New York, who knows? |
