There is hardly any set or fancy costumes. It is surprising that it was over $10m even with the tryouts which usually add $1m each stop but can be recouped by ticket sales (a chorus line revival was so popular in San Fran that it actually recouped the cost of out of town tryout, but that is rare ).
I'm glad the show is a hit, I really enjoyed it and didnt think I would like it all walking in the door. |
