I hate the movie of Yonkers. They must have tested it and people didn't like that Bella stays with the mother. There is this tacked on ending where she is scene dressed up carrying a suit case and leaving town.


Yonkers was one of the strangest theater experiences I ever had. The kids start the play and they were just inaudible. I was in the Mezzanine and people were just talking and complaining that you couldn't hear them at all. People were looking around and were just baffled by the whole thing and flagging down ushers. The kids just kept going.
