Broadway never got to see Rhiannon Giddens go on as Audra McDonald's replacement in SHUFFLE ALONG. But the very talented artist was announced as one of this year's recipients of the MacArthur Foundation's "genius" grants.
Congratulations to her, Annie Baker (playwright of the wonderful "The Flick"), and the other recipients. |
