Not a preview or out-of-town switch, but "Someone Else's Story" from CHESS was added to the Broadway version for Florence, then has been given to Svetlana in subsequent staged-concert versions.

The melody of "On My Own" was sung by Fantine in the original French version of LES MISERABLES (as "La Misere"), but was given to Eponine for the original London production.
