With all due respect, outside of its longevity, the MUNY has done very little to contribute to the development of the American stage. It's hard to imagine it sitting on a shelf comfortably with the other companies awarded the Regional Theatre Tony.

Why are they dong GYPSY and JEROME ROBBINS in the same season? Doesn't JRB feature songs from GYPSY?
