I remember the show because it was the first musical I had seen in quite a while. It was like pulling teeth to get my friends to go to musicals because they weren't considered cool. So I decided to go alone and absolutely loved it. I remember Paul Kreppel was playing the role Jason Alexander did on Broadway. I loved it, but can't compare the size of the tour with Broadway version. I don't have a date for this, but it must have been late 70s or early 80s. I do remember the tour closed shortly after it played here because it was very expensive to run.
