It only ran 4 performances in 1969, but two days before The Fig Leaves Are Falling opened on Broadway, George Abbott took the song "All Of My Laughter" from Jenny O'Hara (who played Pookie) and reassigned it to Dorothy Loudon (who played Lillian). Based on those who saw the show, Loudon brought the house down. She received her first Tony Award nomination for her show-stopping performance.
