I only saw WICKED once, from the front row. Lottery seats. It was amazing. I think the closer you can get, the better. The Elphaba story is very passionate. I think if you see it from far away, as a spectacle, you would miss a lot. It's a very moving story, and the emotions and conflicts are worth springing for the higher-priced seats.
