| I just watched the film. It was sort of strange. Seems like it would have worked better as a play and James Caan is terrible in it. BUT Marsha Mason has some really powerful moments. Those two big speech scenes she has are pretty riveting stuff and probably why she got an Oscar nomination for it. Valerie Harper seems awkward in it though. Hard to believe from the film that that was a Tony winning role. Anyway just curious what people saw on stage. |
