| Jerome Robbins Broadway's touring company commenced soon after it closed on Broadway. It played in Los Angeles for around 5 months, then moved to Tokyo and Osaka for 3 months. After this, it played in Miami Beach, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Houston, Scottsdale, Costa Mesa, Seattle, and San Francisco, closing at the end of the summer, though at least a few more cities were scheduled, including Washington D.C. The company was smaller than the Broadway production, with numbers in the 40s (62 on Broadway), and an orchestra of 17 (28 on Broadway). |
