We saw it Friday and liked it alot. Thought Urie was more human and left flamboyant and that it worked very well.
We're past the stage where a drag queen on stage shocks us - and ready to see gay couples dealing with domestic and real problems.
Mercedes Ruhl was amazing in a great cast.
Have to echo - Laurel is played as real and trying and not as a crazy person or a villain.
We had heard a running time of 2:20 or so - the Friday night show ran almost 2:45 - wonder if they are slowing down or adding back in cut material. |
