I realize that.

I was only pointing out that, despite what appears to be the film's fading hopes for a Best Picture nomination, it nevertheless looked like its leading actor still had a shot at a nomination - at least, according to 2 online Oscar prognosticators. I've already linked one of them, and as for Gold Derby, I said Jackman's name appeared among the top tier of candidates the site believed would produce the 5 nominees (and I've attached that Gold Derby link below).

But in reality, October is way too soon to be talking about any certainties in the yearly quest for the naked golden man. As for the "horse race" between La La Land and Moonlight, that didn't really take shape until the critics began giving out their awards last December.

Personally, I just look at these prediction sites for laughs; I stopped taking most award shows seriously long ago.
