| I'm really excited about this! I was not born yet when the movie came out, but I saw it a year or so ago on DVD (the full length cut, with "It Won't Be Long 'Til Christmas" restored) and found it highly watchable. Lengthy, not always eventful, but lots of fine performers, and I think the score by the Sherman Brothers is very much like what the majority of Broadway shows sounded like in the 60s. I hope they record it - these songs deserve it! |
