There were always rumors that Franchot Tone--not Geoffrey Kerr--was the biological father of John Kerr. Supposedly, even John Kerr himself at times stated this. No question Tone and June Walker co-starred in LILACS the year before Kerr's birth. AND Kerr definitely resembled Tone.
