Which, in the restored 1937 version (which is also available now) has essentially been made into a dance number without the vocal refrain, renamed simply "Light On Our Feet."
The Oppenheimer version ALSO left out a terrific song called "You Are So Fair," which has a fun play-on-words lyric and a great bouncy tune. It also stuck in "You're Nearer," which is always nice to hear, but wasn't written for the show. |
