But I still didn't find this version very exciting. Some of the songs are good, but they might be from the movie. There was an earlier staged reading cancelled in ny because cast was not diverse. I found the diversity a little hard to dismiss here, but that is becoming the new norm for more and more shows. Overall I did enjoy it at the time, but I have completely forgotten most of it.
