Wow! Thanks for tracking this clip down -- I was having trouble locating it. Lilo looks absolutely amazing -- and she's so sharp and funny. I love her story about "Begin the Beguine" -- I (and every other musical theatre fan) would kill to hear her sing that song in her bathroom -- or any other song for that matter. I hope here at ATC we will be able to congratulate her when her 100th birthday comes around. Apparently her year of birth is 1921 (and not 1925).
I love her spot on enunciation of all those tongue twisting Cole Porter rhymes in the Can-Can title song. |
