| I like the new CD; the orchestra is thinner, one misses Hal Linden, but it's just wonderful......I first listened to the recording on an LP; Side one was wonderful, Side two less so, except for the song "In My Own Lifetime; The was a juvenile lead/ingénue romance, which is missing from R & Son(My least favorite song in the show was "I'm in love, I'm in love, I'm in love with a wonderful goyl" or something like that)..Also" Just a Map", song by the mother is back in the show. Any comments from folks who saw either production? |
