So those aren't ready.
King Kong could easily have opened this spring since Saigon had a Jan closing date before the first preview, but producers clearly are waiting for fall.
Gettin Band together is at belasco, and there are other similar size theaters available this springs like cort and Lyceum. So there must be a reason to wait.
It does sound like the prom is ready, but I don't know how big of a theater the show needs. I kind of doubt that carousel will be a big hit so maybe the imperial is what they want. |
