It's definitely easier to figure it out later if you live in New York. I go to NYC fairly often, but it still requires some effort. And if I'm going through the trouble of going to NY, I'd rather see the original cast if I can. In Harry Potter's case, I don't know how long Equity is going to let them stay. Nine months after opening, the original cast might not be there any more.

I don't do first - day sales very often. Last season, I did it for The Front Page, Hello Dolly, Sunday in the Park, and Othello. This season, I'm doing it for Frozen, My Fair Lady, Harry Potter, and Carousel (which probably wasn't necessary, but I had to coordinate with someone else who also doesn't live in NY).
