The question is, will the cast that got the extraordinary reviews still be on stage 9 months after opening? "Dear Evan Hansen" is a pretty good musical but it's Ben Platt's performance that makes it a memorable evening in the theater. Yes, Platt stayed for 9+ months but not everyone does.
