| My wife and I really did not like the film. Discussion when we left was "What was that about?' Answer was "Loneliness and connection, and why did we sit through that?" I liked Come From Away. Anne did not. She found it formulaic and manipulative, with which I don't disagree, but I enjoyed the way they told the story. So, is The Band's Visit likely a pass (for those of us who do not like the film), or does the musical takes the material some place wonderful? Thanks. |
