| Just back from Detroit seeing LOVE NEVER DIES, I liked it more than Phantom...I'm not a Lloyd Webber fan, but I found the music very Pleasant, and I boughts cd, which I'll be playing the car(That's how I give music a trial run.)Sets costumes lighting staging all great! Old Christine's understudy, Rachel Anne Moore, gave a glorious performance and as the 'villainess' Karen Mason was great, and signed a copy of her CD at the stage door..... The mezzanine at the Fisher curves on either end, so it was a little like sitting in a half box. It made the curtain calls a little more enjoyable, full view of the stage and sweeping view of the audience....Coming up? Bolcom's Dinner at Eight in Ann Arbor, and American in Paris in Detroit. |
