I know others saw it differently, but I felt separated from what was going on onstage in my kind-of-far back seat in the orchestra, with the audience on stage and the box around the cast - like I was watching someone else watching a play, and I wasn't as engaged as I usually am. I felt the emotion (played big, to me), but from them, but didn't feel it myself. I love the play, but this wasn't my favorite production. Different strokes, and all.
