''Love Never Dies,'' which recently kicked off its national tour, didn't want to be reviewed during its stop in Baltimore.

But that didn't stop the Washington Post, whose headline read: 'The most popular musical ever has a sequel. We're not supposed to review it.'

Nor did it stop the Baltimore Sun, or the Detroit Free-Press, which was told the official opening wouldn't be until Oct. 25. (It ran its review Oct. 19.)

Often, troubled shows try to avoid the critics, but the reviews from the Baltimore Sun and Detroit Free Press are pretty good.
