As the reviews point out (and which is why none of those major papers honored the embargo), it's highly unusual for a tour to say its first stop on a national tour (in this case, Baltimore) can't be reviewed. What's more, the show wouldn't have allowed reviews until it had nearly left town in Detroit.
Since ''Love Never Dies'' is capitalizing on the fact that it's a sequel to ''Phantom,'' the public deserves the right to know what to expect from the show, given that they're paying full prices. The folks in Baltimore and Detroit shouldn't just get to read about it ... AFTER the show has departed. |
