This ''She Loves Me'' opened to a raft of rave reviews, led by Ben Brantley in the New York Times, who called it ''rapturously revived'' and wrote love letters to Laura Benanti, Zachary Levi and Jane Krakowski. Sheldon Harnick has applauded and lauded this cast, and the show got 8 Tony nominations and 9 Drama Desk nominations, winning the latter's prize for Best Musical Revival.
At any rate, I'm glad this filming of ''She Loves Me'' will allow many more to discover this jewel of a musical comedy with a gem of a cast. |
