The show did not quite sell out. The weekly chart of grosses shows there were 35 empty seats. In fact, there must be more than that because the attendance figure includes standing room. So, there may be as many as 200 unsold seats for Ms. Murphy's Tuesday night. I suppose the weekly gross might well exceed $2.5 million if Bette were doing all 8 performances. Happy to see this great show doing so well.
By the way dramedy, last week's press release about the new house record was not posted on ATC until around 5:30 pm! |
