It's the end of the first act...shipwreck! hero about to drown! So he's on a wire thrashing around in front of a dark blue flat when lo, swimming down from the proscenium comes the slave who rescues him, turning him away from slave trading!
It's one of those moments when a show that's already ludicrously bad goes above and beyond, and you're glad the music is so loud, so not too many people will hear your giggling. |
