What a terrible idea to book a play into the 2,200-seat Orpheum in S.F. ... Or into the 2,300-seat Cadillac in Chicago.
And it's going to the 2,084-seat Ahmanson in L.A. (But I read that it can be reconfigured to 1,600 seats for a play.)
By contrast, ''The Humans'' opened on Broadway at the 1,080-seat Schoenfeld ... and then moved to the 597-seat Helen Hayes. |
