| Not as great a play as I remembered. And quite a bummer actually. And god! That mother was a nightmare. But the set didn't help. No reason to have that thing coming down from the flies. Turned the play's fragile mysteriousness into a clumsy mechanical thing. Loved the performances though. The actors did a great job of delineating their two ages. And the costumes were marvelously period specific. Glad to have seen it again. |
