As per Spectrum cable here in New York, FALSETTOS is actually a broadcast of LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER, even though it's neither live nor at Lincoln Center.
Since it was a Lincoln Center Theater production, I imagine there's some kind of agreement that their productions will fall under this banner.
Live At Lincoln Center probably included it in their budget and put some money into the filming. That would explain why it gets to be under their banner. Even the showing in the movie theatre had a Live From Lincoln Center promo at the beginning.
