Does anyone need a ticket for next Friday's show, November 3rd? Have a nice orchestra ticket for sale at face value.

Much as I love Bette, I have to admit the show with Donna is mind-blowing. To see Hello Dolly with Bette is to see Bette. To see it with Donna is to see Hello Dolly. They each bring their own magic to the show, but to me, the show is more relaxed, funny and organic with Donna. Anyone know why she isn't taking over for Bette instead of Bernadette? Just wondering if she wasn't even offered it or if she declined?

"Anyone know why she isn't taking over for Bette instead of Bernadette?"

I have no inside info, but the fact that every performance has been on TDF has to have something to do with it.
Bernadette may or may not sell out the house, but Donna definitely doesn't, brilliant as she is.

I do not know whether it was offered to her or not but Murphy was very clear when she signed on for her limited performances that right now she had no interest in signing on for a full time commitment. Peters is unlikely to sell out the house unless those premium seats come down in price to a much lower level. Bette in "Hello, Dolly" is an event. Anyone else in "Hello, Dolly" is a (great) show!

Peters' effect on the box office will probably be comparable to Donna's.

Voldemort is totally wrong for the role...but I'd still go see it.
