Not that I know, but I could see it. Great cast. Now watch THE BRETTS after, to see English theatre just after the war. :)

Yes, I could see it working on stage too. Thanks for the tip about THE BRETTS - I see the complete series (950 minutes!) is available for pre-order in the UK.

If you liked UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS and THE DUCHESS OF DUKE STREET, you'll like this. Rosemary Anne Sissons, who was a key writer for those series, created it. I like the three generations of a theatrical family (hell, I like anything with Frank Middlemass--though he's not a regular here), the clash between theatre and the growing film industry, and those costumes, cars, and airplanes! Not all storylines work, but it was still fun.
